PHASES OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Pre-Accelerator phase

Selected SMEs will be contacted and invited to participate in the Pre-Accelerator Phase, which spans approximately two weeks. During this phase, businesses will engage in various meetings and workshops designed to prepare them for the next stages. Topics include refining business strategies, introduction to sustainable business practices, and pitch development.

Interview and Evaluation

Once the Pre-Accelerator Phase ends, our team will invite the shortlisted SMEs to pitch their business to a Selection Committee. This is also an opportunity for each SME to demonstrate their motivation, interest, and expectations towards the programme. The Selection Committee consisting of representatives from UNDP, Flat6Labs, industry experts, mentors, and potential investors will evaluate businesses based on their pitch, business model, commitment to sustainability, and potential for growth, innovation, and economic development.

Announcement and Onboarding

Following the evaluation, the Selection Committee will announce the SMEs accepted into the Accelerator cycle. These SMEs will initiate implementation and will be invited for a kick-off event featuring high-level speakers and representatives from governments, UNDP, and private sector.
