UNDP Impact Venture Hub Delivers Mentorship and Investor Matchmaking Support Post-Accelerator

November 2024 – In early 2024, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched the Impact Venture Hub (IVH) to accelerate sustainable development by building a global network of mission-driven portfolio organizations and stimulating impact investments. The IVH brings together and supports Startups, MSMEs, and non-profits involved in the UNDP Impact Venture Accelerator (IVA) under one platform. It provides a shared space that is facilitating collaboration among IVA alumni, using program management and alumni engagement functionalities that connect them to ecosystem stakeholders. The network provides these high-impact ventures with opportunities for mentorship, networking, investment, and resource sharing.
Since 2019, under the Innovative Financing Lab, UNDP Indonesia has co-developed four thematic IVAs , that have supported 72 ventures — from early-to-growth stage startups to MSMEs — and through their innovative solutions have positively impacted over 70,000+ lives of beneficiaries (incl. farmers, persons with disabilities, youth, rural women, children, health workers, fishermen). To further strengthen the outcomes of UNDP’s IVA alumni in Indonesia towards the achievement of SDGs, the newly launched Impact Venture Hub has onboarded 11 MSME alumni from Indonesia’s past programmes. These businesses receive mentorship from industry experts and pitch opportunities to investors through the Hub’s engagement platform.
A few of the venture highlights are below:
